Cherokee Ballet Theatre
PRE-PROFESSIONAL PERFORMING COMPANY
Cherokee Ballet Theatre was established in 1992 as a performance outlet for pre-professional students. Our commitment to quality produces a polished company of dancers who perform a varied repertoire of classical, modern, tap and jazz works.
The Cherokee Ballet Theatre season includes a holiday production of The Nutcracker, Spring Concert, a Lecture / Demonstration series for area schools and libraries, and a number of community performances. CBT has been a recipient of a Grass Roots grant, awarded by Georgia Council for the Arts and Cherokee County Arts Council for our work in local schools.
Auditions for CBT are held each spring. Rising 3rd through 12th grade students are eligible to audition for placement. For more information, please contact us or fill out the Registration Form indicating your interest in Cherokee Ballet Theatre.
